RPI is located in Troy, NY, just 15 minutes outside of New York's capital, Albany, NY.  RPI is the country’s oldest technological school and the first school in the United States to offer a Civil Engineering degree.  Founded by Stephen Van Rensselaer â€œfor the purpose of instructing persons ... in the application of science to the common purposes of life", RPI is the birth place of many famous engineers including the inventor of the Ferris Wheel and the project manager of the Brooklyn Bridge.

This year’s team is composed of 8 Sophomore and Junior Civil Engineering students.  We are led by Mohammed Alnaggar, a assistant professor at RPI who received his Ph.D. in Structural Engineering from Northwestern University.  For more information on the 2014-2015 team see link below.
